After installing the plugin successfully, GOTO Extensions > Plugins > System - JLex Replacer to get started.
Enter search and replace text. Let's say you want to replace the phrase {year} with the current year:
The Find field is {year}
The Replace field is <?php echo date("Y");?> OR <strong><?=date("Y")?></strong>
