Change factors value calculation formula and ...

hi,

I want to use ranking factors and Reviews separated
Currently if some user write a review and submit without setting factors value they save as 0 for factors
Also I want to change code and let each user to rank and review once
or I need to change the weight of users factors value when calculating

Where is the code of calculating the average of factors and is there any documentation for development?
